Our Story

The Feminine Touch was born from a simple but powerful realization: too many women and girls are silently suffering due to lack of access to basic period products.
Our founder, Felecia Phillips Harris, saw this need firsthand—in college campuses, shelters, and communities where dignity was compromised by a lack of resources. Fueled by her faith and compassion, she took action.
What began as a personal mission soon grew into a community-centered movement to fight period poverty and uplift women in need. With a heart to serve and a vision to restore dignity, Felecia established The Feminine Touch as a nonprofit organization committed to reaching the overlooked and underserved—no matter their age, race, or background.
From hand-delivering products to women in crisis, to planning for future placement of feminine hygiene vending machines in schools, public restrooms, and other strategic locations, our work is both immediate and forward-thinking. We are not just meeting the needs of today—we’re building sustainable solutions for tomorrow.
Every donation, every product, every act of kindness brings us one step closer to a world where period care is a right, not a privilege.
This is more than charity.
It’s a calling.
It’s The Feminine Touch.

Our Mission

The Feminine Touch is a faith-rooted initiative dedicated to restoring dignity, healing, and hope by providing feminine hygiene products to women and girls who are underserved and overlooked. We believe access to basic care is not a luxury but a right, and through our work, we affirm the worth of every woman. Grounded in compassion and driven by purpose, we aim to break the cycle of period poverty, support community well-being, and inspire women to rise—spiritually, emotionally, and economically. By sowing seeds of support, we empower women to reclaim their voice, walk in wholeness, and thrive in life and in business.
